Work List App Pinpoint Works Gains Traction with Support from Wrede Consulting

The interactive worklist app, Pinpoint Works, collaborated with Wrede Consulting for the second year at METS 2017.

Earlier this month, the team at Pinpoint Works spent three days at the Marine Equipment Trade Show, METS, in Amsterdam on the Wrede Consulting stand in the Superyacht Pavilion. This was the second year in a row Wrede invited the Pinpoint Works team to exhibit at their stand as a technical partner.

Wrede Consulting, one of the most successful and recognized paint consultants in the yachting industry, have been using Pinpoint Works for their paint surveys for the last year and a half. A big supporter of the work and snag list system, Kay-Johannes Wrede, owner of Wrede Consulting, has introduced the Pinpoint Works team to invaluable industry contacts the last two METS shows.

“Kay has been extremely supportive of the program since being introduced to the app by one of his paint surveyors,” says James Stockdale, yacht Captain and founder of Pinpoint Works, “All of their surveyors are now using it to streamline their work processes.”

The team at Pinpoint Works spent the duration of the show at the Wrede stand giving demos, meeting with existing users and signing up new clients to the program. Being on the Wrede stand in the SYP for METS has been invaluable for the Saas startup. “The interest this year was tremendous, and we found that many METS attendees had already heard about Pinpoint through their colleagues,” added Stockdale.

Leslie Gillotte, marketing and sales rep for Pinpoint said, “We’re very lucky to be associated with and supported by Wrede as it’s such a well-reputed company within the superyacht industry. It’s a relationship we look forward to nurturing and growing.”
