For the second year in a row, Pinpoint Works will join ACREW Yachting in La Rascasse during the Monaco Yacht Show 2017.
Pinpoint Works, the app that turns your vessel’s general arrangement (GA) into an interactive work
list, is teaming up with ACREW Yachting for the second year in a row for the Monaco Yacht Show. This year, along with dozens of other collaborators, Pinpoint Works will have a spot at the legendary brasserie at Port Hercules to give demos and meet clients from September 27-29th from 9.30-17.00.
ACREW is known throughout the industry for offering free professional development events for yacht crew in a laid-back environment. This will be the third year ACREW make La Rascasse their base for MYS and the second year Pinpoint Works has collaborated with them at the show. “After a successful show with ACREW in 2016, we didn’t hesitate to join them again this year,” said Pinpoint Works CEO and Founder James Stockdale.
Stockdale is eager to introduce more industry professionals to the web and mobile app. As a long-time crew member himself, he created Pinpoint Works when he recognized a need to advance the work list technology in the super yacht market.
After introducing the greater yachting industry to the software at MYS last year, Pinpoint Works is already being used on a wide range of yachts, from small sailing yachts to some of the largest super yachts in the world—including numerous 100m+ new builds. The company has released several new features since last year and are constantly improving the system based on user feedback.
“Our interactive work list has the potential to benefit many yachting professionals and transform the way we think about communicating on board,” Stockdale said. “ACREW have been a great support to us from the beginning and we’re happy to be working with them for MYS 2017.”
